My Recent Favourites and Most used products.

Recently I have been trying out lots of new products and even trying out some of my old favourites and here are some of the products and items I have been loving, I hope you enjoy!

For christmas I received the origins ginger essence sensuous skin scent and I have been loving this scent going into spring as it is so fresh and unusual, this has been my daily scent. I have also re kindled my love for the Coco mademoiselle perfume by Chanel, this is one of my all time favourite sadly I have just ran out so I will need to repurchase!

After a winter of central heating my under eyes have been very dry, my saviour has been the Clinique all about eyes rich eye cream. This really is rich and it makes my eyes feel amazing. Paired alongside the all about eyes roll on serum my under eyes have gone back to its usual state.

Make-up wise I Havant been loving a huge amount of new products however I have returned to some of my old favourites. I've been using the bobbi brown desert rose blush which I used to use everyday and now remember why I used to use it. I love this blush so much it gives a really natural look as it is matt and a really toned down pink. The powder I have been using is the the prep and prime translucent powder this is a brilliant powder and sets your makeup beautifully. Finally one of my all time favourite products which is the Clinique pore minimising instant perfecter, this stuff is amazing I use it after moisturiser before foundation to smooth out my skin and minimise the look of pores and it really does work. Somedays I use this without any foundation and it still gives your skin a flawless natural look.

I have been wearing these camo nike roshe runs constantly this month, they go with everything and they are so comfy.

My final favourite is this nixon tortoise shell watch, I am quite new to wearing a watch however I am now hooked and I think I would be lost if I had to go out without a watch. I love how this watch looks on and I think this is quite different as I previously used to wear a gold style watch.

CRÈME DE LA MER: The face and body gradual tan REVIEW

Crème de la mer; the cream of the sea, the best of the best. They Well known for their premium products made from some of the best ingredients in the world. Creme de la mer has been a brand which i have been dying to try out, everything from the name to the packaging speaks out as luxury to me. After spending the winter in England I have been craving some sun and a holiday but I couldn't see any chance of that anytime soon, so it seemed the perfect time to get a bit of summer and a taste seaside in my own home and buy the closest thing which was The face and body gradual tan from  The Soleil de la Mer range at crème de la mer.

I have been looking for a good fake tan for a while now as I love a summers glow all year round. I have tried out loads on the market and there have never been a fake tan that has blown me away, I find that they are either too orange, too fake looking or streaky. I decided to buy the The face and body gradual tan from creme de la mer last week and I wanted to share my first thoughts on the product.

The packaging is the classic minimalist creme de la mer look with the white box and metallic writing. I do love how basic the packaging is, I think it gives the product a classy look and  gives more emphasis on the product making it seem like your paying for the actual product not for some fancy packaging. The bottle the product comes in is again white but with a pearly effect, just as if it has been washed up on a sunny beach.

my first thoughts on the product was that it smelt amazing, it was probably one of the best fake tans I have ever smelt if not the best. it wasn't too heavily perfumed and  when i tried the product i couldn't believe it was a fake tan it, it had no resemblance to a fake tan what so ever. the texture of the product was more on the gel side rather than cream so it was quite lightweight and it was easy to blend.
I applied the product on my face, neck and chest area after I got out the shower. When I was blending it in it just felt like a really nice moisturiser, my skin looked glowing and fresh after I applied it and smelt like heaven. I then went to bed and slept with the product on as I normally would with any other fake tan.
when i woke up the next day my skin felt amazing and had a lovely glow. As I have fair skin  always worry that I am going to wake up with a orange tan, however this gave me a lovely sun kissed glow that looked natural it was nothing to severe which is what I like. Overall I was very impressed with this fake tan and how it looked and I would definitely recommend it. The only downfall is the price however I do feel you get what you pay for as it is a fake tan which gives a lovely glow and does good to your skin at the same time

Tom Ford - SHADE AND ILLUMINATE Review

Hello people!

I have recently been fortunate  enough to purchase the Tom Ford shade and illuminate (intensity 1 ) which makes me very very happy and i am very grateful. I have wanted this product for what seems like years, but i have always been held back by the price. Luckily i didn't have to part from too much money as i got some vouchers for christmas from my family.

Tom ford shade and illuminate is a compact of two cream base products. You get 14g worth of product in the shade and illuminate which is a large amount so you do get a decent amount for the money. one product is a highlighter/enhancer and the other a contour/shading product. this was the main attraction for me as i have a love for cream products as i think they look the most natural.

What i love about Tom Ford is the packaging. The packaging for Tom Ford is always so classic and chic, and i wasn't let down with the shade and illuminate packaging. The shade and illuminate comes in a suede pouch with Tom Ford on to store the product when not in use. the actual product outer is a very mirrored material. The product is quite large and narrow. when opened there is a large mirror on the top side which i love. The large mirror and the case would make the product good to travel with.

My first use of the shade and illuminate was very positive. The illuminate product was really nice as it gave a glow and shine to the skin without adding glitter so it made the skin look naturally flawless. I used the illuminator on the top of my cheek bones, my brow bone and on my cupids bow.
Again with the shade colour i was really impressed, the product has a grey undertone which replicates shadow so it was very effective. As i have very freckly skin i find it difficult to find a contour colour that works with my skin without it looking pasty. To apply the product Tom Ford sell a brush purposely made for the shade and illuminate, personally i didn't buy it as it was quite expensive.I just used the real techniques contour brush and i had good results with this.

I would say that I was impressed with the shade and illuminate, and I would recommend it if you are willing to pay more money for a good quality contour and highlighter. If you are not willing to pay a huge amount of money yourself it would make a really nice gift. Overall  the Tom Ford Shade And Illuminate is a really nice product to own but its not a necessity and there is other cheaper alternatives on the market.

Thank you for reading and i hope you found the review helpful!
